Prepared with ingredients flown in from around the world, the Mercato Gatto Charcuterie Platter was the piece de resistance of our meal. It consists of prosciutto di parma , beef salami, spicy spanish pork chorizo , assorted cheese of brie , manchego , port salut and pecorino, premium honeycomb & fig paste, assortment of dried fruits , apricot, apple and raisins, assortment of vegetables, olives, vine-ripened tomatoes, cornichons and pickles as well as an assortment of crackers and roasted nuts.


Then we had the Wabi Sabi 21-piece Sushi Platter which is made up of salmon, tuna, yellowtail , mackarel , salmon roe, sweet egg and freshwater eel and the Wabi Sabi Triple Makimono Platter consisting of green monster roll, tiger roll and double trouble salmon roll. For Appetisers, we had the Okonomiyaki and Tuna Salad with Signature Sauce. Then it was followed by my favorite Sashimi Set with thick slices of raw fish, their Dry Ramen with chunky pieces of Char Siu, Assorted Sushi , Hana Maki and Mixed Seafood Truffle Maki.

Kushiyaki wise, the Prawn with Roe & Mayonnaise was the highlight and we also savored the Chicken Wing , Pork Belly, Chicken Skin and Bacon with Golden Mushroom. To complement the meal, The Ramen House also serves a wide variety of sake and Japanese beer.

Next up is the Htapodaki which is Char-grilled Mediterranean Octopus paired with Pickled Octopus Terrine.

Following that, we had the flavorful Moussaka which is a Greek Eggplant And Beef casserole drizzled with Creamy Béchamel Sauce.  The Mixed Grilled Platter is the highlight of the meal and it is an assortment of fresh seafood such as Whole Seabream, King Prawns, Calamari, Mussels and Char Broiled Octopus.

Refreshing juices and cocktails as well as Epsa Greek Sodas with flavors such as Orangeade , Blood Orange and Lemon Soda are some of the drinks options one can have at Mykonos On The Bay.

No meal is complete without desserts and the Pagoto Giaourti , Home-made Greek Yogurt with Honey Ice Cream, Walnuts, Sponge Cake and the Baklava , Crispy Pistachio Rolls bathed in Honey Syrup and served with homemade Fior Di Latte Ice-cream.

Awadh Dining is an Indian restaurant serving authentic Lucknow food, an exquisite culinary spread that is made for the Nawabs (Emperors). This cuisine uses more than 120 spices and we started with Mango Lassi and Murgh Multani Shorba, an Awadhi signature chicken broth.


Next up was the Bhatti Ka Murgh , pan seared chicken marinated in whole spices, Gosht Galawat, melt-in-your-mouth mutton patties with a blend of over 25 rare spices complemented with Mughlai paratha and yogurt mint chutney and the Tandoori Lehsuni Jhinga, garlic marinated prawns chargrilled in the tandoor oven.


Then we had the Reshmi Broccoli , broccoli florets marinated in cashew paste. Following that, we had the Garlic Butter Naan, Roomali Roti and Ulte Tawe Ka Paratha paired with Sultani Dal, a combination of yellow and red lentils tempered with cumin and green chillies , Lehsuni Motiya Palak, seasonal green vegetables with a choice of corn or cubes of cottage cheese and Murg Makhani Jahangiri , succulent pieces of chicken in a mildly spiced creamy tomato gravy. The highlight is the Awadhi Murg Biryani, boneless pieces of chicken marinated in a blend of over forty spices, layered with fragrant rice and slow-cooked “dum” style for six hours and served with cooling yogurt raita.


We end off the meal with the Zaffrani Malai Phirni , a rich and creamy mughal milk pudding flavored with cardamom and Rose Phirni, a rich and creamy mughal milk pudding flavoured with rose essence.

Ah Hoi’s Kitchen is a local zi char specialty restaurant at Hotel Jen Tanglin by Shangri-La that has reopened for dine-in since September. Serving local favorites since 1996, guests can look forward to having these dishes in an alfresco setting under the stars.


Prepared with quality ingredients, the highlight is their Sri Lankan Chilli Crab which the meaty crustaceans are coated in a tantalizing sauce made with a sambal that has been laboriously prepared for hours. The Salted Egg Baby Lobster is one of their best sellers with the succulent meat and flavorful sauce being an absolute delight. Chef Tiger’s Seabass with Thai Spicy Sauce stands out for me as the crunchyness of the fried fish and the appetizing Thai sauce go perfectly together.


We also had the Stir Fried Eggplant with Crispy Fish Skin which is a  delectable combination, Claypot Mee Tai Pak with Seafood, Pineapple Fried Rice with Seafood and Chicken Floss and my personal favorite is the Crispy Fried Noodles with Prawns. Drinks wise, I enjoyed the Dancing Lychee which is refreshing and soothing.
As part of its reopening, the restaurant is also introducing an à la carte buffet for dinner that will feature their best-selling dishes.
