In celebration of Singapore’s 60th birthday, Makan@JEN at JEN Singapore Orchardgateway by Shangri-La presents the SG60 Weekend Buffet Dinner — a vibrant spread of local and international favourites with a creative twist. The highlight of the buffet is a special collaboration with Chef Eng Tong, the acclaimed culinary force behind Michelin-starred Alma by Juan Amador, who has crafted four exclusive dishes blending fine-dining sophistication with familiar local flavours. These include BBQ Kang Kong with Sambal Espuma and Sakura Ebi, Steamed Crustacean Water Egg with Soy-Yuzu, Crispy Skin Seabass with Fermented Black Bean Paste, and a decadent Caramelized Boneless Beef Short Rib glazed in Vanilla Coffee.


Running every Friday and Saturday from 6.30pm until 31 August 2025, the buffet also features crowd-pleasers like Seafood on Ice, Pasta tossed in a cheese wheel, and JEN’s award-winning Baked Salmon Fillet with Seafood Otah. Guests can enjoy hearty roast selections such as Five-Spiced Kampung Chicken and Roasted Angus Beef, alongside a Live BBQ Station offering charcoal-grilled prawns, sambal sotong, satay, and grilled oysters. The experience is rounded off with desserts like Pandan Cendol with Coconut Cream and rotating tarts including Pineapple Meringue and Apple Crumble.
