
Back by popular demand following its successful launch in 2025, Food Capital’s Sakura Serenity Buffet returns from now to 31 May at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel , celebrating the elegance of Japanese spring through refined flavours and seasonal culinary artistry. Presented in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan in Singapore to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Japan–Singapore diplomatic relations, this year’s edition features a special four-hands collaboration between Michelin-trained Chef Elson Lee of Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore and Chef Keiji Matoba, bringing together authentic Japanese techniques with modern interpretations.
Guests can look forward to a curated selection of highlights including Pitan Tofu, Lightly Seared Yellowtail With Grated Daikon, Steamed Oysters With Sake, Saikyo Miso Grilled Black Cod, Japanese Wagyu Yakiniku, Tonteki (Pork Steak), Okayama-Style Octopus Rice, Donburi, Teriyaki Grilled Squid, Unagi Kabayaki (Grilled Eel), Roast Beef With Yakiniku Sauce, Tsukune (Grilled Japanese Chicken Meatballs), Roast Lamb With Hokkaido BBQ Sauce, Yuzu-Marinated Grilled Spanish Mackerel, and Wagyu Beef Sandwich.
To complete the experience, diners can enjoy Japanese-inspired desserts such as Mizu Shingen Mochi, Warabi Mochi, Hojicha Panna Cotta, Goma Panna Cotta, Sakura Berries Pudding, Kuro Goma Cake, and Yuzu Tea Mousse Cake.
