From now to 20 September 2026, Pan Pacific Singapore award-winning buffet restaurant, Edge Restaurant, welcomes back the highly anticipated “Heritage of Penang” Dinner Buffet, celebrating the island’s vibrant hawker and Peranakan flavours. Executive Chef Andy Oh and his Culinary Team join forces with four renowned Penang hawker veterans, each bringing decades of culinary experience to the spread. Highlights include Chef Toon Chin Hye’s acclaimed Fried Oyster Omelette, Chef Tan Pow Lai’s Fresh Hand-made Popiah with delicately hand-rolled skins, Chef Tan Kim Chong’s Nyonya Otah, Nyonya Curry Kapitan and Nyonya Perut Ikan, and Chef Kong Chee Thiam’s signature Apam Balik (Min Jiang Kueh). Chef Andy also pays tribute to Penang’s hawker heritage with his Penang White Curry Noodle with Pork Blood Curd and wok-fired Char Kway Teow, alongside favourites such as Nyonya Mango Kerabu, Loh Bak, Char Moi, Assam Pedas Fish with Lady Finger, Too Kar Chor and Inchi Kabin.
The Penang experience continues with nostalgic desserts including Muah Chee, Penang Tau Sar Piah, Durian Crepe, Penang Cendol and Pickled Nutmeg, complemented by Edge’s extensive international buffet selection.
Guests can also indulge in Slow-roasted Prime Rib with Yorkshire Pudding, Classic Osso Bucco, Pan-seared Sustainable Salmon with Fennel Purée, Seafood Bouillabaisse, Chicken and Mushroom Roulade and Marinated Giant Squid.
End the evening on a sweet note with desserts such as Raspberry Rose Gâteau, Cherry Almond Strudel, Lemon Pistachio Cake and Cream Cheese Pecan Brownie.
