Winestone in Mercure Singapore On Stevens is a culinary concept that combines a selection of wines and a Modern European menu. It encompasses a retail concept offering wine and floral gift hampers of over 90 labels from around the world.
Executive Chef S. Punniammurti, also known as Chef Murti, has specially curated an innovative OH-MY-SHROOMS 4-Course Dinner menu surrounding 7 types of humble and nutrient-packed mushrooms sourced locally and overseas. This menu is available from now to 31 March.
The dining experience begins with two appetisers, Warm and Cold. One can choose between the Tagliatelle with Spicy Chorizo Sausages and Mushrooms (Tagliatelle Pasta, Swiss Brown Mushrooms, sliced Chorizo Sausages) or Pesto Prawns with Maitake Mushrooms and Tomatoes (Prawns, Fresh Basil Herbs, Maitake Mushrooms, semi-dried Tomatoes, Rocket Leaves) for the former. For the latter, one can opt for the Terrific Green Synonyms (Mixed Salad, Prosciutto Ham, Pink Oyster Mushrooms, roasted Pine Nuts, White Balsamic Vinaigrette) or the Smoked Duck with Hon-Shimeji Mushrooms (Smoked Duck Breast, White and Brown Hon-Shimeji Mushrooms, Herbs Dressing).
The main selection features Scottish Salmon with Golden Mushrooms; tender salmon fillet marinated with lemon and thyme, served with Spinach Cream and sautéed Golden Mushrooms, Grilled Ribeye with Morel Mushrooms; a generous slab of ribeye with rosemary grilled to perfection and topped with creamy Morel Mushroom Sauce, as well as Seafood with White Hon-shimeiji Mushrooms; a seafood trove consisting of prawns, scallops, slipper lobsters and black mussels cooked with tomato basil and pesto, topped with sautéed White Hon-shimeji Mushrooms.
Lastly, the meal is complete with their decadent desserts which you can select either the Truffle Mushroom Burnt Cheesecake or the Apple and Wild Mushrooms Tart.
