InterContinental Hotels & Resorts is set to unveil a new series of fully immersive experiences across Singapore, Australia and Japan as well as display, for the first time, a collection of one-of-a-kind NFTs (non-fungible tokens) as an extension of its partnership with acclaimed British contemporary artist Claire Luxton.
A whimsical pop-up in InterContinental Singapore will bring Claire Luxton’s NFT to life. From now to 30 April 2023, guests are welcome to explore and learn more about the collaboration within a 2m-by-2m organza floral display designed in partnership with Luxton.
At The Lobby Lounge , guests can indulge in a Claire-Luxton-inspired cocktail, mocktail, or tart created by the hotel’s Executive Chef Kenny Chung and mixologist, Dora Amurao. The Secret Garden cocktail (S$32++) mixes Lavender Infused Gin, Sambuca, Banana Liquer Giffard Farfait Amour, Lemon Juice and Hibiscus Syrup Passion Fruit Foam. Claire Luxton’s artwork is displayed on top of a Mixed Berries Bubble Foam. Bloom and Blossom (S$25++) presents an alcohol-free version of the drink. Citrus sponge cake and sable biscuit are topped with elderflower mousse, raspberry and rosella marmalade and glazed to form the Rosella tart (S$26++ per serving). Yuzu cream, edible flowers and lime sauce complete the tart.
Guests and visitors are also able to enjoy an array of immersive experiences curated in partnership with Claire Luxton at InterContinental Sydney and InterContinental Osaka. With 207 open InterContinental hotels and more than 90 in the pipeline globally, the brand is inspiring a new chapter of worldly destinations. Recent openings include Khao Yai in Thailand, and Australia’s Mornington Peninsula in Victoria as well as the upcoming openings of InterContinental Bangkok Sukhumvit, InterContinental Chiang Mai Mae Ping and the highly anticipated reopening of InterContinental Bangkok after its multi-million dollar renovation.
