Relax and chill with Mexican cuisine and lovely cocktails at Margarita’s in Dempsey Hill. Begin the meal with their delightful concoctions Virgin Margarita, Mango and Pomegranate, Classic Lime, Pina Colada which is a Rum based cocktail with Coconut and the Expresso Martini.

Start with the evergreen Corn Tortilla Chips with Red and Green Salsa followed by their recommended mains which are the Chorizo Pork Sausages, Softshell Crab Tacos and Grilled Ribeye cooked Mexican style paired with a sampling of guacamole, beans, sour cream, salsa and tortillas.

The Red Snapper Fajitas and the Kahlua Pork Ribs round off the meal. The Kahlua Pork Ribs is the highlight of the meal for me. The meat has a tender succulence to it and is drenched in a tantalizing sweet and spicy sauce that makes it really appetizing.

Complete the meal with the Bunuelos Con Mol De Piloncillo which is an authentic Mexican dessert. Mexican fritters are served in a pool of glistening piloncillo syrup topped by a scoop of smooth coconut ice cream.

Chang Korean BBQ brings you away from the hustle and bustle of the city to a garden setting in Dempsey Hill . There you can enjoy the grilling of premium meat such as Prime Boneless Short Rib, Marinated Short Rib and Thin Sliced Ox Tongue as well as a variety of greens.

The Appetisers stood out in both aesthetics and flavor. Both the Seasoned Raw Beef with pear, cucumber, pinenut, garlic and york and the Pan Fried Oyster Pancake with Pickled Radish and Lotus Roots score high on the presentation. The Sliced Pork Trotter consisting of jellyfish, kimchi and spring onion with chef mustard dressing will entice the meat lovers.

Bibimbap is always a safe option to have as a staple but the gochujang sauce here stood out for its intensity. Lastly, our dessert which seems to be a regular ice cream proves that appearance is deceiving as we are all blown away by their palatable Ginseng Ice Cream.

Pann are actually betel leaves which are commonly consumed in South East Asia and I have the opportunity to savour its ice cream flavour for the first time.  It has a mild, refreshing taste which makes it really addictive.

Catered for up to 5 diners and available for takeaway and delivery , this 6 course set meal consists of the more popular dishes from Ah Hoi’s Kitchen. The highlight is the Baby Lobster tossed in Salted Egg Sauce with the pearl white flesh coated with the rich, flavorful salted egg sauce. We also had the Prawns in Chili Crabmeat Sauce and enjoyed dipping the Fried Mantou in it.

The Honey Glazed Chicken with Ginger is sweet and savory making it really appetising and I was impressed with the succulence of the meat in the Steamed Sea Perch with Bean Crumb. The Fried Kailan with Garlic provides the greens while the Steamed Jasmine Rice is the staple. My favourite dessert Mango Sago Pomelo provides the toothsome end to the meal.
