The rain might have dampened my mood but thankfully there is still the lovely river view and mouthwatering dishes at Dallas Cafe & Bar in Marina Bay Sands.
Starters wise, we had the Snapper Fish Tacos with the appetising pineapple chutney . The Antipasto Platter consisted of Salami , Prosciutto, Ham, Olives, Mozzarella to pair with the Freshly Baked Bread.
The Lamb Burger stood out for me as the combination of cucumber, mint yoghurt, cheese and aioli for the lamb patty is refreshing. We also had the Prosciutto Ham pizza and two lovely mocktails Watermelon Mint Virgin Mojito and Frozen Yuzu Lemonade to complete the meal.

The English House by Marco Pierre White occupies the space of two adjacent colonial shophouses. Once you go through the main door, you will be greeted by an antique bookshelf and a darkly lit lobby that leads to the bright lit restaurant. Here you will find marbled table tops and wooden chairs and plenty of ornaments , sculptures and collectibles before heading further in to find the Gin Bar.
We had the opportunity to savour the Classic Eggs Benedict with Berkshire Ham Hock and Fresh Avocado on Toast Sourdough of their brunch menu.
With a cup of Cafe Latte and a pot of tea, it is a perfect place to wind down and chill after a week’s work.
