The English House by Marco Pierre White occupies the space of two adjacent colonial shophouses. Once you go through the main door, you will be greeted by an antique bookshelf and a darkly lit lobby that leads to the bright lit restaurant. Here you will find marbled table tops and wooden chairs and plenty of ornaments , sculptures and collectibles before heading further in to find the Gin Bar.
We had the opportunity to savour the Classic Eggs Benedict with Berkshire Ham Hock and Fresh Avocado on Toast Sourdough of their brunch menu.
With a cup of Cafe Latte and a pot of tea, it is a perfect place to wind down and chill after a week’s work.
