
Basilico at Conrad Singapore Orchard presents Italian Artisan Week, a five-day celebration of Italian craftsmanship and convivial dining from 3 to 7 September.
The festival brings together Italy’s most esteemed cheesemakers, charcutiers, pasta producers, and chefs, enhancing Basilico’s signature buffet with artisanal highlights, live demonstrations, and interactive experiences. Guests can look forward to vibrant cheese ceremonies, exclusive guest chef creations, and meet-the-maker sessions, all set against the abundant spread of antipasti, pizzas, pastas, and seasonal Italian flavours that Basilico is known for. Complementing the culinary journey, the Basilico Bar will spotlight Italian cocktail culture with vermouth-led creations, Negronis, and light bites.
Featured here is An Evening in Rome with Chef Stefano De Caro on Thursday on 4 September, marking the Roman-born, Sydney-based chef’s Singapore debut with Roman-inspired contemporary creations. On 5 and 6 September, Convivio Italiano: Feast of the Artisans showcases the craft of MORO cheeses, Rustichella pastas, and Devodier charcuterie paired with wines and bespoke cocktails. The festivities culminate with Festa Italiana: Weekend Brunch on 6 and 7 September, where diners enjoy live pasta and charcuterie stations, vertical tastings of Italian hams and Parmigiano Reggiano, and the chance to meet the artisans themselves.
